"....so we decided to document
this sound we had---some of his tunes, some of mine." she said. "We went into the studio and put all ten rhythm beds
down in one day, went back and overdubbed a couple solos and
percussion and then mixed it all in one session! We were just
having fun but then realized it sounded pretty good too so we
pressed it into a disc." Who would have known this "fun" would end up as successful a sound as what Cathy Morris has discovered. This first disc in collaboration with guitarist /composer Royce Campbell (formerly with Henry Mancini and currently on Positive Music) just scratches the surface of what has now become a distinctly unique and sought after music! There will definitely be lots more where this came from. |
